About Greg

A career spent where systems and people meet.

Government. Governance. Business. Development. Community leadership. A cross-sector perspective grounded in real responsibility.

Greg Moore

Greg Moore is a Canadian keynote speaker and experienced governance, community and business leader from British Columbia. His career has placed him at the intersection of public purpose, organizational responsibility, development and community expectations.

Greg served as Mayor of Port Coquitlam and Chair of Metro Vancouver, leading in environments where decisions about housing, infrastructure, growth, services and public trust had practical consequences for people’s daily lives. He later served as Interim President and CEO of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.

His experience also includes board leadership, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, real estate development and community service.

A personal lens

Dyslexia, communication and human potential

Greg is dyslexic. His experience with generative AI is personal and practical: AI did not change how he thinks; it changed his ability to communicate what he thinks.

He uses tools such as ChatGPT to reduce barriers in drafting, organize ideas and turn complex thinking into clear communication—without presenting technology as a cure for dyslexia or a substitute for human judgment.

The barrier was never a lack of ideas. It was the friction involved in making those ideas visible to others.
